View epg not updating
I subscribe to the most basic cable service, from Comcast.
From the first evening of setting up the television and from my many months of research, I knew this television was going to provide me with the beautiful guide (EPG) that your post described.
For official tech support fill out a Support Request. It also helped in triggering an EPG update once the connection was re-established. This seemed to finally force the EPG update, however it then showed the next update as occuring in 0 minutes.
This is a problem I've always had with Sage, even in version 1. I closed Sage and editted sage.properties again by setting epg/download_frequency=1 epg/download_offset= and reopened sage and it showed an update in a day, like I assumed it should've since the beginning.
Does this seem like a service provider problem, a TV issue, or perhaps both? Hello, lomafan: I am happy to have found this Samsung-oriented forum.
